Meet The team

James Winzeler

Jim started working in the Quartz business back in 1980. Since then he has gained his expertise experience from working in various Quartz companies in the USA. In 1993 Jim started Master Glassworks  with a vision to provide the highest quality products and excellent customer service.  

Jim enjoys growing grapes, making wine, playing golf, baseball and basketball. Jim also does volunteer work with Portland State University Chemistry Department Grad Student Program.  Also enjoys helping out the homeless and various alcohol drug addiction programs.

Mike Esralian

Mike has worked in the Semiconductor industry for over 35 years as a Process Engineer and as a Technical Sales Engineer. His background is in silicon wafer processing and engineering. Mike has worked for several high tech companies, especially in the areas of Diffusion and Thin Film Deposition. Mike holds a BS/MS in Chemistry. 

In his spare time Mike likes to write, watch TV with his wife Shirley and try new recipes in the kitchen.

Wenying Niu, M.D.

Wenying recently joined the team as an advisor.  She originally received her Medical Degree from China Medical University in 1983. Subsequently she trained in Anesthesia and critical care medicine in the USA from 2001 - 2006.  Wenying is actively practicing Healthcare in the state of Oregon.

Besides her busy professional life, Wenying enjoys hiking, biking and competing in ballroom dancing. 

Gary Winzeler

Gary has been working in Sales & Marketing since 1976 and been helping Master Glassworks from the beginning.  Gary has been involved with many different startups in Silicon Valley. Gary holds a BS Degree in Business Management with a minor in Aerospace Engineering from Saint Mary's College in California.  

Gary enjoys making wine, biking, scuba diving, traveling, baseball and basketball.
